The voice of property

HISTORY
Although Jason Andrew first launched his namesake business (JA) in 2009 as a specialised auction house, it’s grown to become so much more.

For the young, fresh and dynamic team, calling more than 20% of all auctions across South East Queensland and regularly achieving premium prices is just part of what they do.

JA now provides training and mentoring to some of the country and industry’s best, focussed on raising the bar in a property market that is changing rapidly and regularly facing challenging circumstances. The fundamental difference behind JA’s value proposition is quality data. JA specialises in collecting and supplying its partner offices and agents with relevant, timely and specific information for use with vendors and buyers, empowering them to clearly understand the current market environment.

APPROACH
The team at JA are closely involved with thousands of auctions every year. But rather than just turning up, calling the auction and leaving, JA has a strong focus on training and mentoring, equipping their 1500 partner agents with all the skills they need to achieve sales success.

JA collects a greater depth of property sales data than most research houses. Comprehensively covering every aspect of the sales process, JA measures 30 key performance indicators, ranging from the number inspections that a property attracts right through to the number of bidders on particular types of dwellings.

Next, JA analyses the data, identifying trends and averages and gauging the overall market environment. This information is then
delivered back to partner agents in a variety of regular formats, including social media, e-newsletters and formal quarterly reports.

The circle is complete when partner agents use this information with their clients, facilitating a thorough understanding and acceptance by all parties of the current market environment and enabling stronger client relationships.
